Our project expertise begins at the concept design stage and covers every aspect of planning work, up to the start of construction and beyond. We handle all business modelling, financing, layout, engineering, planning and permitting, and manage tenders and local authorities.

Modern biomethane projects will offer more than just green gas. Upgrading of digestate very often involves the possibility to market valuable organic fertilizers. And the carbon that we capture from the raw biogas is a perfect product for greenhouses, food industry or other industrial users.

Our dedicated feedstock management team has developed a deep network of agricultural partners, comprising over 300 suppliers and moving up to 700 thousand tonnes of feedstock and digestate annually. The team has capabilities ranging from early feedstock availability assessments and establishing regional feedstock strategies for new projects, to testing the suitability of new and emerging feedstock types and delivering feedstock transition plans as well as tailoring transportation and logistics strategies for operational plants.

By using a range of feedstock options – from silage to manures, agricultural by-products and organic waste – we can maximise carbon savings and successfully achieve REDII certifications.

Our feedstock management team works closely with our plant operators to jointly manage rolling feeding plans, just-in-time logistics, and any biological discrepancies. This collaborative approach ensures we maximise synergies and unlock potential in this fast-growing industry.

We manage a broad range of construction projects, from planning and tendering right up to commissioning – and by ensuring safety, budgets, timelines and quality throughout we deliver these as turnkey projects. Working in cooperation with communities, suppliers, grid operators and authorities, we are proud to turn projects into successfully operating assets.

The long-term operation of our projects is key to our continued success. As experienced operators, we have a deep understanding of the technical, biological and commercial processes that underpin biomethane plants. Daily conversations between on-site teams and asset management enable us to act quickly and make the decisions that matter.

Employing our self-developed digital solution BioRecs, we have access to a reporting tool that is tailored to the plant using real-time data, at any time and from anywhere. What’s more, we are currently introducing additional management systems applying predictive maintenance and ensuring regulatory compliance all using innovative digital mapping.
